This sensational and very easy to handle app transforms your iPhone or iPodTouch into a real thermometer device. You can practically measure environmental temperature from -20 C up to 140 C or 0 F up to 320 F. You may switch between Celcius and Fahrenheit on the fly within the application. The temperature is displayed on a big analog instrument. To operate this app you need some additional hardware option that you have to connect to the headphone connector via a 4 pin plug. All you have to do in this little DIY project is to connect a NTC 10hOhm thermistor, a 0.1uF cap and a 180Ohm resistor to the plug.
